Theater will always be my first love. It helped me through the agonies of high school and introduced me to my tribe as I danced in summer theatres, stayed up all night hanging lights in college and immersed myself in the off off Broadway scene as a playwright and all around assistant at New York Stage and Film Company. I’ll always be grateful to my mentors Max Mayer, Leslie Urdang and Mark Linn-Baker who produced my work at the Powerhouse Theatre at Vassar, as well as my theatre homes at Manhattan Class Company and Circle Repertory Lab.
